Involving Local Leaders and Youth in Combating GBV and Advocating for the Right to Education in Sinjar

This project aims to involve the local community and religious leaders in Sinjar to combat GBV in the society and advocate for the Right to Education for everyone equally, community leaders are trusted authorities, and they can be quite influential in shaping the returnee’s behavior and initiating positive change in Sinjar district. This is done through training dedicated to educating both groups (community leaders and religious leaders) about both (GBV and the Right to Education). It also aims to utilize all the talents available in Sinjar’s various youth centers to train them in content creation and management of successful social media advocacy campaigns.
