The sponsorship of the European Endowment for Democracy ( EED ) initiative aims at developing YBDO’s internal systems and strategy in order to be better positioned with the donor community as well as strengthen the organization’s overall capacity. Additionally, the initiative seeks to identify the challenges and needs within the Yezidi community and develop the necessary strategies to address these needs. Within the frame of this initiative, the following three key activities are foreseen:
Develop the YBDO strategy, fundraising capacities, administrative policies and communication.
Holding four workshops, each lasting two days, with youth, women, community leaders, activists, and media professionals to identify the needs of the Yezidi community in Sinjar and consequently build the Youth Bridge strategy based on these needs
The publication of a detailed report that maps all need of the community and the proposed solutions and deliverables at the end of the project
