Women Challenging War Project (WCW)

Integration of the project with the Italian IV NAP and with the international WPS agenda:

The project contributes to the implementation of key aspects of the international agenda Women Peace and Security, in the aspects concerning in particular the participation of women in peace processes and the action to prevent and combat violent extremism (also with a view to protecting women) as required by UNSCR 1325, and UNSCR 2242. This is the second phase of the Italian IV NAP and with the international WPS agenda project. Implemented by YBDO in partnership with UPP and several other partners in Iraq and Lebanon and funded by the Italian government.
