In December 2021, and within the project “Women Challenging War” Youth Bridge Organization organized the first conference in Sinjar on the “Role of Women in Transitional Justice” with the participation of so many influential members of NGOs that work on building peace through involving women in the process. In this conference, the main focus was on the role of Yezidi women in transitional justice as they showed their resiliency and power despite all they have experienced and are becoming a voice for their community and ask for their rights everywhere in the world.  In the Italian NAP of 1325 agenda, one of the main pillars is the participation, and here the women participation in transitional justice process after the genocide is crucial towards healing the whole society. This conference was the conclusion of all the 2021 activities of the project in so many countries including Iraq and Sinjar.
