In response to the challenges regarding the freedom of opinion in Iraq in general and in Sinjar in specific, Youth Bridge is taking initiative and currently carrying out a series of live sessions in Sinjar with stakeholders from directors of departments, local and administrative authorities, civil society activists, and civil institutions working in the field of advocacy within the project “promoting the concept of freedom of opinion and expression and to strive towards achieving justice and equality in state institutions – Sinjar”. These live sessions aim to promote the concept, value, and importance of freedom of expression and opinion. In addition, Youth Bridge is carrying out dialogue sessions on gender equality and equal employment opportunities for Yezidis in the various government institutions such as the municipality, education department, water department, and electricity department among others.
