The Youth Bridge Development Organization held two dialogue sessions on promoting gender justice and equality in government institutions in Sinjar within the project “Promoting Freedom of Expression and Opinion and the Pursuit of Justice and Equality in Service and Government Institutions in Sinjar.” in the first session, Female employees of government departments and activists working in the field of human rights participate in the dialogue session on the promotion of justice and equality in government institutions to obtain a good knowledge of gender equality and the mechanism of fairness of women’s rights in accordance with local and international laws and to have real representation in all different government institutions. The second session was organized with the representatives of government departments and the local community leaders on promoting justice and equality in government institutions and fairness of all components according to the population ratios in their areas. In order to restore stability and recovery in Sinjar and the surrounding areas, there must be a fair distribution of administrative positions and the participation of components and women in decision-making in accordance with legal standards.
