The Youth Bridge Development Organization within the framework of the project “Women Peacebuilders in Action” conducted a 6 days training workshop on the women leadership to enhance the capacity of 20 women from Sinjar in various skills including women  leadership, effective communication, life skills, negotiation, mediation, advocacy, transitional justice, UN Security Council Resolution 1325 and 2250 and other subjects aimed at promoting and developing the capacities of women in Sinjar. By empowering and enhancing women capabilities, we aspire to build a safer and more stable future for women in Sinjar.

This project is implemented as part of the Italian National Action Plan for the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda, also known as UN Security Council Resolution 1325, issued in 2000. The project has been executed over four consecutive years in collaboration with the UPP organization, within a network encompassing civil society organizations in the Middle East and North Africa regions and funding from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
