The “Together for Better Sinjar Network” completed a three-day workshop in the Youth Bridge Main Office.

Within the framework of the Sinjar Consortium for Local Organizations, led by the Youth Bridge Development Organization, a community network called “Together for a Better Sinjar” has been established in Sinjar. This network brings together directors of government service departments and influential community leaders from Sinjar district and the surrounding southern regions.

The primary objective of establishing this network is to promote community participation and empower local authorities to play a crucial role in constructing a peaceful future for the region. By creating a collaborative platform, the network aims to identify sustainable solutions to community and service-related issues in the area, thereby enhancing the overall well-being of the region.

The network comprises 20 influential figures in Sinjar, including ten heads and directors of government departments, as well as ten influential community figures. They will participate in an intensive training program consisting of two workshops, each spanning three days.

To increase community participation and strengthen the role of local authorities in building a peaceful future for the region, monthly meetings will be held between local authorities and community leaders. During these meetings, both sides will discuss various issues and collaborate to develop plans for their resolution. The objective of these plans and actions will be to find sustainable solutions.

By establishing “Together for a Better Sinjar” and providing intensive training, the Sinjar Consortium for Local Organizations and the Youth Bridge Development Organization aim to empower the local community and government leaders, fostering a collaborative environment that will contribute to the long-term prosperity and peace of the region.
