The project titled “The Empowerment and Inclusion Centre in Sinjar” is now officially open to the community. This community center is owned by the Sinjar Consortium for Local Organizations and aims to provide a wide range of services and support to the people of the region.

The center will serve as a dedicated space for community events, various activities, psychological counseling, and diverse training programs for different groups and ages. It is designed to become a vibrant hub that fosters community engagement, youth development, and facilitates closer collaboration between the local government and the community to address common issues and meet the needs of the locals.

In addition, the center will provide a safe haven and an inclusive environment for feminist activities, with a focus on empowering women and children. It will offer courses in various skills and professions, including language learning, computer literacy, drawing, reading and writing skills, knitting, and more.

The center will be open from Sunday to Thursday each week, between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, to conduct activities and accommodate beneficiaries and stakeholders for coordination purposes. It is conveniently located in the heart of Sinjar district, specifically in the Roj Halat neighborhood near the health center.
