As part of the “Promoting Community Stability and Empowering Youth in Sinjar” project, The Sinjar Consortium for Local Organizations orchestrated four public events and numerous sessions within its “Empowerment and Inclusion Center” community hub in Sinjar. This was part of the ‘Let’s Paint the World Orange’ campaign during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, with active participation from diverse women.

These engaging activities underscored the crucial role of combating violence and emphasized the significance of women in society. Beyond the public events and awareness sessions, the campaign extended its reach through the social media pages of Sinjar Consortium’s partners throughout the 16 days of the international campaign against Gender-Based Violence. The Sinjar Consortium remains steadfast in supporting and empowering women through various programs, striving to amplify their voices in the community.
