Within the framework of the “Promoting Stability and Empowering Youth in Sinjar” project, The Sinjar Consortium for Local Organizations, as part of its campaign “Let’s Paint the World Orange,” recently honored number of women activists and women organizations in Sinjar during the international “16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence” campaign. This recognition was extended in appreciation of their unwavering contributions to fostering stability in Sinjar post-genocide and the return of families.

Acknowledging and supporting the endeavors of these women is crucial for shaping a promising future for women and girls, amplifying their role in public life within the community. The Sinjar Consortium remains committed to championing the vital work of women in building a resilient and inclusive community.
