With the motto “Green Services Departments, Healthy Future,” The Sinjar Consortium for Local Organizations, under the “Promoting Community Stability and Empowering Youth in Sinjar” project, introduced a groundbreaking community initiative—planting trees in 20 service department locations. Over 100 employees from various service departments in Sinjar actively participated in this impactful campaign.
The campaign’s main objectives include fostering a positive impact on the local environment, promoting a harmonious balance between urban growth and sustainability. It further strives to elevate the involvement of government departments in environmental initiatives while fostering enhanced cooperation between local authorities and civil society organizations.
