In celebration of the International Day of Education, the Sinjar Consortium, led by the Youth Bridge Organization, organized an event to honor the teachers, school directors, and directors of the Department of Education in Sinjar. This event recognized their efforts in revitalizing the education system in Sinjar following its liberation from ISIS control. Despite challenges such as a lack of teaching staff, equipment, textbooks, stationery, and school buildings, these dedicated individuals have worked tirelessly to make education accessible for children across Sinjar. Their resilience in the face of adversity underscores their belief in education as a vital tool for community revival and stability in the aftermath of conflict and war with ISIS.
