The Sinjar Consortium for Local Organizations carried out an intensive training workshop for members of the community network in Sinjar – “Together for a Better Sinjar” on advocacy, dialogue management, negotiation and conflict analysis for two days at the Youth Bridge Organization office in Sinjar. This workshop aims to enhance effective cooperation between the community and local authorities, by empowering members of the community network represented by community leaders and representatives of government departments. This network is part of the project “Promoting community stability and empowering youth in Sinjar”, which is implemented by the Sinjar Consortium for Local Organizations with support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and generous funding from the Dutch government.
