A cleaning campaign was organized in Til-Azir sub-district as part of the project “Promoting Community Stability and Empowering Youth in Sinjar,” facilitated by the Sinjar Consortium for Local Organizations leaded by Youth Bridge Organization.
The Municipality of Til-Azir and the Til-Azir Youth Center & Hygiene Ambassadors actively collaborated in coordinating the campaign, along with the participation of the Cleanliness Ambassadors Group and local volunteers.
This initiative aimed to enhance community stability and empower youth in the region, as well as it is a vital component of a broader endeavor to foster community stability in Sinjar while empowering local youth and engaging the services departments in the sub-district. By actively participating in this campaign, young people acquire essential values such as teamwork and social responsibility. Additionally, they develop a sense of pride and belonging as they contribute to the betterment of their community.
Furthermore, the campaign plays a significant role in improving the overall image of the area and creating awareness regarding the importance of maintaining public hygiene. It is anticipated that this awareness will encourage a sustained commitment to hygiene practices and inspire more individuals to participate in similar cleaning campaigns in the future.
