On July 23, 2022, the first workshop in a series of sessions and workshops was concluded. With the aim of assessing the needs of the community, especially the youth, these workshop series aim at targeting senior active community figures, youth energies, media professionals, and activists “within the YB_BCDS project funded by European Endowment for Democracy” (EED).
During this first workshop, a group of youth, activists, and representatives of effective youth institutions gathered together to participate in the workshop in Sinjar. This workshop mapped out the main challenges facing youth in Sinjar and other Yazidi regions, the risks facing their future in Iraq, and the repercussions of migration.
