The Youth Bridge Organization and the monitoring team met separately with officials and government employees from the different departments to gather more information and ensure its veracity. The visits included high-ranking government officials to create more pressure for accountability in service delivery. The main purpose of the meetings was to involve the local government in identifying the Sinjar communities’ needs towards finding solutions collaboratively to return stability to the Sinjar area and facilitate the return of the internally displaced people from refugee camps.
