After the workshops, the Youth Bridge Organization contracted with three permanent monitors and mentor thirteen volunteers to monitor and document the state of public services and conducted security services in their communities. Youth Bridge and the volunteers continued to monitor the specific public services sectors of health and municipality and additionally monitor the electricity and justice. By the end of the project, the volunteer team identified the needs of the area and published 3 inclusive reports on the public services in the Sinjar area.

The Youth Bridge Organization and the volunteers conducted five field visits to document the state of the projects and interviewed ten citizens each time and sought their input on service delivery through a survey. Based on these activities, the volunteers wrote up to five two-page monitoring reports in Arabic that they and the youth Bridge leadership used in advocacy meetings with various decision-makers in Sinjar and with the provincial government officials in Mosul. The purpose of these meetings was to advocate for better governance in Sinjar.
