Our project, Enhancing Stability in Conflict-Affected Communities in Iraq, is dedicated to addressing the critical challenges faced by the Qairawan Sub-district. This initiative focuses on identifying and bridging key gaps in access to essential services, including water, healthcare, education, and infrastructure, which are vital for community well-being and resilience. In parallel, the project actively works to combat violent extremism by fostering community-led initiatives and promoting peacebuilding efforts. By engaging directly with local stakeholders, including community leaders, youth, women, and vulnerable groups, we aim to address the root causes of extremism and build trust within the community.

The approach centers on participatory methods to ensure the voices of all community members are heard and their needs prioritized. Through capacity-building workshops, dialogue sessions, and collaborative planning, we are empowering residents to take ownership of the solutions, ensuring they are effective, inclusive, and sustainable.

Our ultimate goal is to create a safer, more stable environment in Qairawan, where communities can thrive without fear or marginalization. By addressing the immediate needs of the population and tackling the underlying drivers of instability, we are laying the foundation for long-term peace and development in the region.
