To foster students’ knowledge of the culture, history, and identity of their area in Sinjar, the Sinjar Consortium, led by the Youth Bridge Organization, organized a “Scientific Competition” for 15 schools in the region. The event saw the enthusiastic participation of 225 students from the Sinjar center, Qairawan sub-district, and Qahtaniya sub-district. The competition consisted of four rounds of questions, culminating in Al-Qahtaniya High School securing first place, Al-Waleed Secondary School taking second place, and Qairawan Girls High School achieving third place.

This unique competition created a stimulating environment that encouraged both male and female students to engage in school scientific and cultural activities. The event was attended by the Director of Qairawan Education, school representatives, principals, and community figures, all aiming to promote social and cultural integration among the youth from different areas of Sinjar. This initiative successfully highlighted the importance of educational and cultural participation in the community.
