As part of the “Building Peaceful Futures in Sinjar,” the youth Bridge Organization provided hygiene awareness sessions in the Sinjar center, Qairawan, and Qahtaniyah sub-districts from August to December 2021. These hygiene promotion sessions were delivered house to house in all three areas, in which not a single family was deprived of this service to enhance hygiene practices and provide hygiene supplies and tools to minimize the risk of COVID-19, Scabies disease, lice disease, diarrhea, hand washing and personal hygiene in general, and how to prepare ORS solutions at home in Sinjar area due to the existence of so many cases of these diseases.
