Overview of the Youth Bridge Organization:
Youth Bridge Development Organization (YBDO) is a local, independent, and non-profit NGO. It was established on 24th April 2015, and it is registered in the NGOs Department in Erbil and Baghdad, with its main office in Sinjar. YBDO supports and develops vulnerable communities by implementing empowering and social integration programs for all the groups including youth, women, and PWDs.
Job description
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Lead the team who will be responsible for health awareness, the beneficiaries’ needs assessment /selection, conducting assessments when needed, registrations, and data entry, – Sinjar.
- Managing the day-to-day activities of the team.
- Motivating the team to achieve organizational goals.
- Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets.
- Delegating tasks to team members.
- Conducting training of team members to maximize their potential.
- Empowering team members with skills to improve their confidence, product knowledge, and communication skills.
- Conducting quarterly performance reviews.
- Contributing to the growth of the organization through a successful team.
- Creating a pleasant working environment that inspires the team.
- Guarantee information about the existing services and those offered by UPP and YBDO.
- If needed, do home visits, oriented at increasing compliance with user-centered support plans;
- Maintain contacts with services users and facilitate the connection with available and complementary services on the ground.
Reporting
- Regularly adds information to project database through the provided tablets;
- Participate regularly to supervision sessions with the Medical Coordinator.
Language:
– Fluent in Kurdish
– Knowledge in Arabic
-Knowledge in English (reading and writing)
