The “Green Schools Initiative” is a key part of the Sinjar Consortium’s efforts to create a comfortable and sustainable environment for students while addressing the impact of climate change on the region. This initiative underscores our commitment to sustainable development and environmental protection.

As part of this effort, we have planted over 900 trees across 17 schools in western Nineveh and the Sinjar area. This project aims to reduce environmental pollution and raise community awareness about the importance of preserving the environment and revitalizing nature in our region. By integrating green spaces into schools, we hope to foster a culture of environmental stewardship among students and the broader community.
