As part of the “Strengthening Community Resilience and Protection of Human Rights in Sinjar and West Nineveh” project, Youth Bridge Organization, in collaboration with the Nineveh Center for Minority Rights, is training 20 community police members from the targeted regions to enhance their skills in professionally documenting cases of violence. This training equips participants with essential policies, criteria, and tools for maintaining confidentiality, safeguarding data, and implementing victim-centered follow-up mechanisms without causing harm to the victims.
The workshops emphasize effective communication with victims, ensuring confidentiality, and protecting sensitive information, sharing it only with authorized authorities. Participants also received comprehensive guidelines and training on utilizing software programs to securely document victim and case data, ensuring that files remain protected from unauthorized access.
