On the sad ninth anniversary of the Yazidi genocide, we remember the terrible suffering and loss endured by our Yezidi people. We honor the brave ones who resisted and remember the innocent lives lost due to the violence caused by extremist groups ISIS. Many Yezidis were forced to leave their homes, and their sacred places were destroyed. Women were abducted, men were killed, and young people were forced to join these groups and brainwashed.

Today, we pray for the souls of the victims and for strength for their families. We also stand with those who survived but are still suffering. We want to help them rebuild their lives with dignity. It’s important for the world to think about protecting human rights and stopping extremism and terrorism. The memory of the Yezidi tragedy should inspire us to make the world fairer and more peaceful, where there’s no cruelty or discrimination. We promise not to forget this tragedy and to educate others about it, so it never happens again. Let’s work together to create a better world where different cultures and races are treated with respect and kindness. On this solemn day, we reaffirm our commitment to help the victims and support those who suffered because of this tragedy. We believe that by working together, we can make positive changes and help our communities. We should keep striving for an Iraq where everyone can live in peace and work together. We want to speak up for those who are treated unfairly and work for justice and equality. We also thank all the fighters who bravely faced the ISIS terrorists and freed Iraq from their control. Their sacrifices brought back safety and stability to the region. We’re grateful to the countries that recognized the Yazidi genocide and supported us. Your acknowledgment of the pain we went through is an important step toward justice and respect for human rights.  Furthermore, we ask the world to set up a fair court to punish the criminals and leaders of ISIS who caused so much harm to the Yezidi community. They need to be held responsible for their actions committed against Yezidis and other religious groups in Iraq. We also ask for protection for the Yezidi people, who suffered a lot because of ISIS. We need to ensure their safety and protect their rich history.
