More than 150 children were suffering from basic education in the Al-Qaboosiya, a Muslim-majority village, after ISIS destroyed the school’s property and displaced the majority of its residents. The Youth Bridge Organization, with funding from the United States Agency for International Development, rehabilitated and equipped the village school. This project contributed to the children’s return to school. Moreover, this project also contributed to extending the horizons of cooperation between residents of the area from different backgrounds, and destroyed the barriers that ISIS built on a religious and ideological basis.
