Life is a beautiful journey, enjoy what you are doing during this journey, and leave a more beautiful impact that glorifies you when you leave.
Life is a period in which it cannot be relived again. It is the period between life’s inhalation and death’s exhalation. During this period, human beings are full of ambitions and goals, and they need happiness, love, and peace to enjoy this period. Thus, to reach your goals and feel safe and peace while you are on the top of your happiness level, you should have a clear life strategy and vision for your future to ensure what you want to achieve. This strategy step by step enables you to reach to the top.
Here, we belong to a community, which has faced 74 genocides campaigns, and out of millions, only a few thousand are left scattered in different spots in the world. During the last period, we lost our honor and land, what remains is our ironic motivation, and that motive is placed deeply in our souls. During the last 25 years, we noticed how we were exposed to extinction, and how we sacrificed to protect our honor and preserve our identity, which is a part of human identity that we are all proud of. The youth generation has worked hard and fought with all their efforts to find a blooming future for their people.
Life on the planet is beautiful with its diversity, and the extinction of any type, would reduce its beauty, so we have to work hard to preserve this diversity, which makes us stronger and gives us the motive and reflects our solidarity toward each other in our good and bad. In order to empower equality and social justice, many NGOs have been founded in worldwide as their aim to improve equality and social justice in every spot of this planet. They all agree on principles that bond them by a common purpose which is helping vulnerable communities and securing life in terms of stabilization, food security, and avoiding conflicts. Besides, a lot of governments in many countries set up huge budgets for supporting programs and projects which reduce killing, hate speech, revenge, and religious, ethnic, and ideological conflicts as well as reducing issues that threaten the world’s peace and safety.
In the beginning, the idea of creating youth groups was not that common, such as foundations, organizations, and syndicates, which can lead our communities towards peace and safety. That was because of the dictatorial shed on the community. Those political, religious, social, and traditional sheds prevented community members from the freedom of expression and built a generation that is unaware of understanding the dynamic of life in its best way.
When I joined university and interacted with social media, I tried my best to create a youth group able to help the community and open doors for youths from both genders to participate in decision making and live-in dignity. But, unfortunately, I faced many challenges. The authorities tried to silence us. Those practices that were against humanity, democracy, and freedom of expression, did not prevent our will to achieve our goals but increased our motive to improve civic engagement in our community.
After ISIS’ occupation of Sinjar and their barbaric actions against humanity including murdering, kidnapping, and forcing to flee towards mountains and left us on the edge of life for 10 days with limited food and water and passing through life in IDP camps that lack to the basic of living. From there, we started the journey again converting the tragedy and displacement suffering to power for success and achieving goals.
I started from zero; zero dollars, zero support, I was even unable to find a place or buy a chair. Instead, I had a strong motive, love of success, and passion which helped me to face those challenges. I succeeded to find youth volunteers from different specialties to make a good mass of people and move together towards our main aim, which is to reach the top in helping people and building a powerful community.
Dear colleagues, we are still at the beginning of this humanitarian task, which requires the determination to reach success. We have always succeeded to overcome all the ups and downs to help our community to overcome those difficult days, which our people were facing and do our best to help vulnerable communities, and those who lost their dreams and lost hope in this world. We have to be the backbone for weak people, the power for those who have lost their strength, and hope for those who lost hope. Release humans from slavery and help people to move toward a bright future. Work together to build a strong environment and base for our upcoming generations.
